rotors and pads suggestions

Would like to get members input on what they recommend on rotor and pad replacements other than OEM for a 3 day a week usage and 3-4 track days a year. Girodisc, Brembo vs OEM rotors and pads -Pagid , Stoptech? keep in mind i have run OEM rotors and pads for my last 5 track days with 4-5 sessions per and no real issues but wanted opinions if anything better that work on street use without major dust and noise issues.

Anything more track orientated than your current setup will result in much more brake dusts and noise. There is no compromise between a great track setup and dust/noise. Given your use I would stick with OEM and upgrade your fluid to Motul 600 or Castrol SRF. You don't want boil your fluid. Downside is you should change the above fluids annually give your use.

Thanks, that's what my thought was also but wanted to get some other opinions.

PFC brakes makes rotor and pads for our cars.

pfcbrakes.com

I'm thinking about swapping out my PCCBs for them.

Last time I checked PFC rears are not e-brake compatible.

I have GiroDisc 2 Piece Rotors with Pagid RS-29 Pads.

This combinations is perfect for the track

+ They are very light compared to stock rotors
+ Brake feel doesn't fade in long trackdays sessions
+ No initial hard bite (makes it easier to trail brake in corners)
+ Excellent for brake boosting

- Noisy (Needs heat to stop the noise)
- Doesn't brake very good while cold (Needs heat to brake properly)

As stated above, for your use stock is fine. make sure the fluid is fresh. I run girodisc/pagid and endless fluid in my 996 race car.

Would you consider yourself an aggressive driver, I.e. Use brakes hard? How many track days do you have on them? I'm trying to weigh better rotors vs cost.

+1 to all of that. There is simply no way to get better braking without additional noise and dust. I've run many track days with OEM pads/rotors and better fluid (Motul in my case) and never had any issues. Personally though I go towards more performance and am willing to sacrifice the noise and dust, so I've gone to Pagid Yellow/Orange front/rear with OEM rotors on my Turbo.
