IPD Plenum Install, Dyno Numbers

Install the Plenum and put the car on the Dyno, looks like it need a retune to get the peak HP up, but good midrange power (25whp & 34 wtq)

Nice. How does the butt dyno feel? It gets better and the car responds faster as the ECU adapts.

Very nice! My dyno stock vs plenum showed very similar results.

Unfortunately you need a tune to unlock the plenum's full potential because the stock ECU includes measures to limit torque in the upper RPM range which is why you see the torque curves converging above 5K.

It would be a good test to see dyno's of a tuned car and then once the IPD plenum is added to see how much is adds to the upper RPMs.

Plenum is a great mod. Midrange gain alone worth every penny.

That anybody know if there some tune that work with this mod? I read that GIAC tune work with this plenum... Any dyno to see this??? I believe this mod is not that good if the ECU can't adjust to it.

Anyone have any feedback on the IPD y-pipe? There wasn't much about it via search. I'm pretty sold on the plenum but not sure I should do the y-pipe at the same time.

You can push it a little more to 550whp safely , with an exhaust .
Maybe a ipe inotech or europipe ? I think these are the best sound exhaust for 997 and can add 25 whp more
