Hi,

I hate to see the key hole on the door handle, anyone go through this?

Would like to purchase the best fit plug, painted.

Placed my order. The communication and reply to emails from bumperplugs guys was super fast and friendly.

I will post pictures once installed. This a cheap mod that makes a difference! Well to me it does

Yep its great and good for a +5hp, The silver edge still showed on my 08. so I painted the lock surface black first.

To me, with all the tech we've reached and how most cars need no key to get in or even start, seeing the door key hole makes me feel like i'm getting into an old car. It must go!

Got my pre-painted plug from "bumperplugs" and it looks great! Way better than seeing that key hole.

Very nice, that looks great.

I would consider something similar except mine is not a daily driver and there a weeks that go by where I'm not able to enjoy the car. Only way to get the key fob to work after 7 days of no activity is to stick the key in the door and unlock, which then re-activates the key fob.

I leave mine on trickle charger for weeks, don't lock it and never had an issue with key fob.

I got one too as it's a nice little detail but pretty spendy for a tiny piece of plastic. That P-car tax again

It pops out and back in very easily in case you actually have to use the key i.e. the no remote unlock after a week thing.
