Given the seller's apparent lack of transparency surrounding the incident, something tells me that in the long run, you'll be thankful this sale fell through...it's frustrating but your car is out there!

The stations with both gas and diesel in the same unit have two separate pumps and two nozzles. Diesel is pretty well marked (green nozzles, different button to use to select, etc.)...but not impossible to get it wrong.

yes your correct. after a hard nite at the bar he wasn't paying attention and just grabbed the wrong handle. its all encased in a single unit so he just pumped away. didn't take long for the bike to turn into a mosquito fogger!!

There's a guy with that name in the San Antonio area, but he's probably not your guy because this one is in insurance sales, lol

this is not correct. Even hoses in the same dispenser have distinctly different sized nozzles. You cannot insert a diesel nozzle into a the gas tank of a non-diesel car. But... if you're having a "hard" night, and you are sufficiently determined, I suppose you could suspend the nozzle above the gas fill pipe and hope that some of that liquid makes it into your tank. Otherwise, this doesn't happen.

Still...green nozzles, separate labeled button, smells funny, usually big oil slick on the ground - lots of clues...but still easy to do if not paying attention especially if he owns a diesel car/truck.

Actually I think our local BP stations have green nozzles for diesel and black for regular , kinda backward from the rest of the world .
I do think they are the same size as well .
