Arrived!! Speedtech 3" x pipe catless w/full dual 3" tips
You definitely did man!! Damn it sounds good.

Thanks buddy... unfortunately I cannot still drive the car. The PDK TCU is shipped for the tune
I gotta take good videos when the car is done.
I'll make sure I document my build well for future references and learnings
John,
I finally got the exhaust installed. I freakin love this system! My son giggling in the background loves it to. My little 8 year old gearhead! Thanks for creating such a quality product. It's soo pretty, it's a shame it has to be hidden behind the bumper! As I pulled away from my cousin's shop today, he immediately called me to tell me the car was burping flames on upshifts. He swears I did something sneaky to it. Haha.

Thanks for the kind words, Jamar and I'm very happy to hear you and your son are so pleased! Our 997TT system is really something special, whether it's a quieter catted 2.5 or a loud catless 3.0, they all sound great. We have so many in production right now from the Black Friday sale, I think there are soon to be a lot more happy 997TT owners!

I've never noticed any soot, I wash after almost every drive so... Def has some smell, I notice it more when coming to a stop. I daily drove my car with another catless system and it never bothered me at least. Hope this helped.
Happy Holidays 6Speeders!!

^Thanks for the response!
Based on the great reviews and numerous sound clips I pulled the trigger and ordered the Catless race x-pipe from John at Speedtech!
Haha I don't even have the car yet in my state.
Looking forward to 2017!

Hi John,
I have a few questions about your exhausts:
1) Does the X-Pipe with mufflers change the sounds drastically?
2) Which X-Pipe combo known to keep that amazing sound but have the least amount of cabin drone?
2) What is the expected power gain with your cat/decat systems? (No tune)
3) Are all of your exhaust systems CEL free? No check engine light? (No tune)
Also, I am somewhat local, so I could always swing by your shop and chat with you about what I'm looking for. If you guys have a shop/showroom floor and provide such service that is.
Thanks!

Hi Dmitriy,
Thanks for contacting us. Happy New year! Please see answers (in blue) to your questions below:
Hi John,
I have a few questions about your exhausts:
1) Does the X-Pipe with mufflers change the sounds drastically? The short answer is "yes". It changes the volume considerably and the tone slightly. The volume becomes "much quieter" with the mufflers pictured and tone becomes a little deeper, however, our overall GT3-ish signature sound is still there. I would recommend the 2.5 X-Pipe with mufflers, as you pictured, if you seek a reserved sport sound that is not overly loud.
2) Which X-Pipe combo known to keep that amazing sound but have the least amount of cabin drone? That would be the 2.5 X-Pipe, no mufflers - It wails like an exotic supercar at higher RPM's (sound amazing), yet is extremely comfortable in the cabin at all times, including lower RPM's.
3) What is the expected power gain with your cat/decat systems? (No tune) About 25cat/32decat HP on a base car and we have seen 50+HP with just a swap from OEM exhaust to SpeedTech on a modified car with upgraded turbos and tune.
4) Are all of your exhaust systems CEL free? No check engine light? (No tune) Yes, all the catted systems are CEL free.
PM me and we can discuss your situation and logistics.
Best Regards,
John
