Q: I am not sure if the variant 2 or varient 3 will work but I am looking for caster and camber adjustability. Also is there any option to change rebound from the greenhouse of the car?
Also I have a 996 TT
V2 is not an option for the 996tt so that will leave you with the V3. You will be able to adjust them to the specs that work for you. I know there is a ton of members on this forum that posted their set ups and why they done it a certain way.
I have no idea on the greenhouse question. I'll have to ask one of my coworkers on Monday.
Terrible suspension, expensive, and doesn't work except on completely perfect, flat surfaces.
KW at SEMA offered me apologies, and I'll be sending them my KW V3 for reconstruction and then selling it.
I'm sorry to hear you had a horrible experience with the KW suspension. We have used their suspensions on all of our project cars and never had any issues. Unfortunately, there are going to be a 1 or 2 that are defective from the manufacture and that is the reason why we have the warranty on the system.
If you have any questions for me or have any interest in a different brand, please feel free to PM me or email me at Leo@vividracing.com I'll give you the best price I can.
When I complained to Dan about it all he said was that that's how it works and that I'm probably 1 in a million having the problems. He NEVER offered ANY warranty, or asked me to return the suspension to get it checked. Which is why I went straight to KW at SEMA.
When I posted all the problems I had, turns out more than 5 people had the same exact issues.
Suspension is terrible, uses a 180-200 lbs Spring on the front. That doesn't work except on flat & perfect surfaces. Grab some sort of imperfection, and you'll bottom out. Grab a big one like I did, and bottom out on all 4 corners, and scrape everything.
I do apologize for any inconvenience experienced. I am not privy to any previous correspondence, but I'm more than willing to assist now in any way I can. If that's assisting you with KW, or another brand entirely, I'll gladly do whatever I can to make this up to you.
Like I said, I'll be sending my suspension, which was 9,000$+ (Lift Kit version), to KW for checking. And I'll be selling it on eBay for whatever I can get.
I know you had nothing to do with this, but experiences like this teaches you who to do business with, and with Dan I'll no longer do anything.
I'm just throwing it out there, if people are after a performance suspension, don't get KW, I would check out all other brands before this one. Ohlins for half the price and probably much better.

I 100% agree with KW being extremely sub par based on price. Ohlins is certainly the way to go. Sorry you had to deal with such a horrible experience. I'll make sure to steer clear from KW. Who needs purple shocks anyway
