Fidelity Warranty question.
Yes very recent, in fact I am still waiting for my fedex package to arrive then sign all documents and pay for the bill and send it back to him. I am not driving the car until it cover under warranty because if you passed 10k miles mark, you pay double the price instantly.
I was quoted 5800 for the same thing by a dealer here in Atlanta for a platinum although I wont be getting that plan anyway.

This is long but worth a read. Not sure these warranties are worth it or not.

I have the Fidelity Platnium that was transferred over from the previous owner. I called Fidelity today to see if they will cover my clutch accumulator and they said it doesn't cover any clutch or clutch related parts. I think it's a waste of money
Clutch, tires, brakes pads and rotors are your responsibility for maintenance, it is considering as wear and tear items. Those items would fall into maintenance packages sold new through dealerships such as BMW, MB, and Audi but I don't think Porsche offer that. Not even Porsche OEM warranty would cover your clutch parts.
FYI - my dealer charge $600 for accumulator, master and slave cylinder cost $1600. You looking at $2200 in repair bills for those items but you have 2 years warranty on parts and labor from dealer

if anyone interest to see what fidelity platinum warranty covers, PM me and I will send the policy terms and agreements to you. It is mostly moving parts, including AC, windows regulators and some brake line and hydraulic lines. Pretty intensive coverage if you ask.
I called them direct but they told me they wont sell to an individual you have to go through a dealer.
For each 10k miles, the price goes up substantially. I got mine done with 29k miles on it and had I waited until 30k It would have gone up another $1000 or so.
Not sure how Fidelity works, but from my understanding anything less than 10k miles, you got almost new car warranty pricing (cheapest), then at 25k miles you looking at 80% increase, than at 45k you paying more than triple the premium. My local Porsche dealer (only one here) offer me $ 13111 for my car???? I told them I got it for $2600, he keep telling me the other guy made a mistake or I am lying...WTF
folks may want to ck pricing sunset porsche in oregon, ask for fin mgr & ask for RL/6sp pricing on Fidelity platinum- I've bought two from them at decent prices on cars with <25k miles- no affiliation- just saved a bunch over other quotes-
I just confirm and paid for Fidelity Platinum Plan for my 2008 Turbo with 9880 miles on the clock for $2606. If anyone want to speak to my finance manager who sold me the package from Circle Porsche at Long Beach CA, PM me and I will give you his personal cell phone number. Or you can call the dealer and ask for Elliot Dawson yourself.
That's just crazy. 1 decent repair at the dealer over the next 5 years and the warranty pays for itself, regardless of what you paid for it. Doesn't mean your engine has to blow. It can be as simple as a power seat malfunctioning, an LED going bad in the taillight, etc. One of the LEDs went bad in the taillight of my Maserati, and its a non-servicable part. So the only fix was to replace the whole taillight assembly. I wish I had a warranty then. Also, for PDK guys to keep in mind, the Fidelity Platinum covers the entire gearbox, clutches included. It does not cover this on manual transmission cars.
