Anyone have a Speedtech or other xpipe without mufflers in Texas?
Anyone have a Speedtech or other xpipe without mufflers in Texas?
If anyone has one like this in the central Texas area (or Dallas, Houston, etc.) let me know. I am looking for something louder. )
I have the Sharkwerks muffler delete. The only way to get your exhaust louder is to replace/remove the cats. I doubt muffler deletes regardless of who makes it will sound much different if you compare them all.
I'm in Houston.

The GMG has two small resonators on it whereas the Speedtech 3.0 Race has no mufflers, no cats, and is just an xpipe setup.
Is yours a 997.1 or 997.2 turbo? Is the sharkwerks just an xpipe with no cats and no mufflers?

Sharkwerks is the best sound and value hands down, found mine on Ebay new for 1k.
GMG is probably the loudest of the ones mentioned... its full 3" with 2 mufflers..

For clarification, we offer a FULL 3" system/X-Pipe with NO MUFFLERS for both the 997.1TT and the 997.2TT. Full 3" cat bypass pipes or HJS cats are available options for these models.
Additionally, both models (.1TT and .2TT) are also available with 2 in-line mufflers for a quieter sound, although on the 997.2TT we do not recommend mufflers. The .2 platform is very quiet by nature.
On the .1TT it's personal sound goals/preference, as it can be made loud and aggressive with no mufflers or very quiet per the customers wishes.

Not to hijack anyone's thread ... I was in a 997.1 with SpeedTech 3.0 X-Pipe 200 CEL's very recently ... it was hella hella loud outside ... I mean ... goddamn ...
But to my surprise, it has minimal to NO drone in the cabin. I could not believe my ears.
I had an EP2L, and a few of other exhausts before ... and hands down, the SP X-Pipe is the loudest (and quietest in the interior) I have been in.
Btw, I am not affiliated nor I have a SpeedTech in my car.
Just my $0.02.

I have the 3" X-pipe with 200cell HJS racing Cats and it's awesome! No need to be paying an exorbant amount of money for an exhaust of this quality and performance any longer guys. No fancy brand tags TIG welded here, just works. Great exotic sound no drone. It's simple and effective. Save your coin.
I've changed exhausts four times and I love the GMG...but want something louder. I've committed to not changing again until I can hear it in person, hence the post. The Speedtech 3.0 Xpipe with or without cats is the one I'm interested in, though if there are others out there I'm all ears.
