Hi guy's I'm starting this thread to try to find out what's the most boost I can run on my 997tt the following is a list of what I have done so far.: Pauter connecting rods, head studs, fuel system running e85, 4"IC & Y pipe, 82mm TB & plenum, bigger coils, triple disc clutch, 3"costume exhaust no cats, Headers ,A3076 & greddy profec BC. Everything was done @prototech, it dyno 823rwhp @ 1.75bars(dynojet) I will like to run more boost and bigger turbos ,have anyone out there done it without blowing the engine

A3076 should run 2bar or so on internal gates, if you convert to external WGs should be able to run 2.2bar or even more, I did almost 2.2bar on .85bar wastegate springs and a bit bigger turbos than A3076, be sure to add smaller springs on top of the big springs and raise the WG pressure, general rule is 2xWG pressure=max boost..but we can go a bit higher than that.. internal gates of A3076 are set @0.9bar though so 2 bar+ shouldnt be too difficult

Above 2bar A3076 might not be efficient, bigger gtx3076 can go up to 2.3bar, you will need bigger turbos with bigger hotside to run more... make sure you have good headstuds and head gasket, also enough fuel .. pte6266 v2 reached easily 2.7bar on a built 3.8 engine, but those are bigger even than gtx35 or hta35.. good luck

I actually have external WG 44mm, I'm not using the ones on the alphas ,I'm not having a problem getting to 2bar I'm just concerned about the engine holding together besides the connecting rods everything else is stock

I guess Mark/Prodigymb did 2bar on A3076 some years ago on his yellow 996tt and that mild built engine proved to be strong for 1000+ whp till today.. remember 996tt are 9.4CR and 997tt are 9.0 CR so even better for 997s... but each engine has its tolerances and the most important is the tune imo among a lot other things.. and I wouldnt put too much load in higher gears

i dont see why you can't do 30-32 psi safely. 1.75 bar is baby boost, im running almost that much on pump gas and stock motor on my 997

at 36psi i pushed out headgasket on one side. we took off heads, Tim O-ringed it for me and it never saw anything less than 38 psi after that. we have ran as much as 45-46 psi. given that was on larger turbos.

it depends on what they did to the block... my gt35rs feel the best at 1.75 bar... after that its all air... considering your on A30s I doubt there is anything left in them for more boost.... our 997 has A30rs and on high boost it runs 1.75 max.. just sharing...

1.9 is def gonna feel stronger than 1.7. Alphas start to choke up at 2.0bar. we couldnt push mine past 29psi on internatl gates and upgraded inlet piping on 996tt. i suspect that with external gates they had more boost left. so turn that thing up, just make sure your tune is good for it.

yes over 38 psi.

upgraded 10mm studs with proper O-rings are plenty. without O-rings headgasket pushes out on passenger side.

ran over 30 degrees of timing using the ProEFI. best trap was 156. best 60-130 4.2 with 2 shifts.

That's really perfect

I have different setup , stock DME , Oring Sleeves by ESmotor , 10mm head studs , in 1.8bar of boost 35s turbo I did 3.8sec 100-200 !
I will install new OHLINE susp kit and I will test with more boost

I will try more boost soon to test , thanks buddy , best of luck
