Hey guys,
A friend and I are looking to hear a GMG 997TT exhaust in or around the NC/SC area, specifically around Charlotte.

I'm in nashville so not much help. what i found with my gmg exhaust is the slash cut huge tips on the end of the exhaust created mind numbing drone at 70 mph in 5th gear. 6 wasn't much better . i had the oem tips welded onto the ends which created a tiny size reduction and it all but eliminated the drone. other than not having any v bands to swap out cats and such its a solid well built stainless steel exhaust. i also have the headers and they have performed flawlessly

 

I have a GMG WC-GT exhaust on my 09. no drone anywhere in the rev range. The sound is intoxicating. Sorry nowhere near u to hear it in person.

I live in Columbus. Not sure if you're still in town but I have GMG on my 997.2 TTS.

Sounds great. No drone with sport off. Mild drone in 6th and 7th at 2000-2500rpm. Non issue for me.

 

i also have the headers and they have performed flawlessly

I've read that the 997.1 and .2 sound completely different. I'd still love to hear it when I'm back in Dublin next week.

 

You didn't like the muffler bypass you put on?

I love the Speedtech Xpipe I installed, the sound is intoxicating. I'm just wanting to compare it to the GMG.
