TheRock's 997 Rear Bumper Cover Removal DIY Guide
OK...
I have had a few requests for this, and had some time to put this together.
I have covered this process briefly in other DIY's, but went in to greater detail here for those wanting to remove the bumper cover.
Good luck to you all. It is a pretty straightforward process, and I hope I documented and outlined it in a way that is easy to follow and logical!
Certainly, if you see opportunities to help others, or tips please post here for others.
As in the past, I host these on my personal web server, so if it gets a lot of traffic, it may flake out....so just try again until it works.

Enjoy, and let me know if it helps....

Thanks for this. About to remove mine so I can clear the gravel I collected at the track. Really appreciate the guide!

You “ROCK”, THE ROCK!!!
Had to remove my rear clip today to swap out some exhaust parts. Opened this DIY thread before getting started. For some reason I was unable to get the rear tail light plus to release(?). Fortunately the wiring harnesses were long enough and I was able to rest them in the engine bay on top of a towel.
All went smoothly thanks to you!
Thanks again for posting this DIY thread!
Cheers,

I am a big fan of the ROCK's DIY guides - very well done - much better than most part vendors who are making money selling us parts and leaving us to scratch our heads - two thumbs up for the ROCK!
