New Project 4.0L 1200HP
As some of you may know am running ESmotor built engine and turbos kit .. Car is fine and running very strong , but because I was running pauter Rods , we were afraid to run higher boost level (2.0bar Max) to not damage the Rods .. Because from what I heared 1000 TQ is max !!
Engine will go to ESmotor to get refreshed and rebuilt with :
- 4.0l Mahle pistons
-carillo Rods
- bigger heads same as GT3 spec
- Esmotor head studs
Will update you with pics and videos
Regards

They will be more expensive, but given what you are spending .... it is all relative.

Well let's see the difference from 2.0bar to 2.3bar plus the GT3 spec heads

Unless things have changed, the Pauter rods have more mass. They are heavier and given your rpm range should be just fine. For the most part both Pauter and Carillo are off the shelf rods. If you want a lighter, built to spec rod give Arrow Precision a call.

I will go with custom ESmotor Carillo rods that suppose to hold 1900hp

Sorry if I'm missing the obvious, but is this a 997.1?
I see .2 taillights in your avatar but I know some people convert them.
Good luck with the build. Esmotor has been putting out monsters in all of the platforms.

Maybe they are referring to foot pounds which is 1355NM.you will hit the limit of your tip transmission before you reach the limit of the rods.

The above information is incorrect. I have Pauter rods in my engine and they came in lighter than comparable Carillos. The Pauters with the beefier ARP625 bolts are 536g versus 540g for the Carillos with the CARR bolts. The Pauters are 32g lighter than OEM rods. As far as strength goes, can anyone point out an engine that bent Pauters rods? I am not aware of one and was told by Pauter they have been used in 1200hp applications without issues. If anything, I would think due to the nature of the design, the Pauters have less windage than the Carillos. I don't think you can go wrong with either Pauter or Carillo.
