325/25/20 have vanished from the earth?

Hey guys-

I have 20x12 HRE P40 in the rear and have always run 325/25/20. I need new tires and the word I have gotten from EVERYONE is that P-Zero and the PSS are the only 2 tires that have been manufactured in that size recently and neither have been made in the last 6-12 months and there is a world wide back order. WTF? So my car is sitting in a shop with the rear tires ripped off. 335 are too close to the fender (we tried) and I'd prefer not to go down in size to a 315.

I think I have found a set of 325/25/20 in England but am waiting for confirmation. 2 weeks with no tires is getting nuts.

Anyone have the line on a pair of rear tires in this size? What is everyone else doing who runs a 12" wide wheel on the rear of their turbo doing for replacement tires?

Found these but what is interesting is that when you go to Tire Rack they are on back order. I know from experience that Discount Tire has two separate divisions, online and retail. I found a set of for tires for my Renault from Discount Tire on Ebay and when I called my local shop they said they could not match the price of the tires per corporate. Tire Rack might have the same policy.

Yeah. Some sites post them like they have them but when you check out or call they say the size is unavailable.

Isn't this just crazy? I've got a couple months left on my rears-thanks for the Dunlop link-but then I'd have to get fronts as well. Not sure what I'd do if I had an unrepairable blowout (its my only car!) I've called and emailed Michelin-they respond with the bad news quickly-"no production is scheduled for the next 4 weeks-which is as long as we can look forward". Maybe Porsche could help us??

I wonder if a 325/30/20 will fit? With the H&R springs it's really tucked as it is. My mechanic put on 335/25/20 and said it fits on the car but he can only fit about 2 quarters between the tire and the fender and that when cornering hard it could rub on the fender and shred the tire....

you have to be careful when you start running odd, non standard tire specs/sizes - you could end up frying the AWD differential which would be a pricey problem...

if you can't get the 325's - i would go with the oem widths until you can... 305 and 235

As soon as they start making the 325's i am buying an extra set to keep in the garage

I'm running 20s. The car came stock with 19s.

I found a pair of 325/25 in England I think... waiting on confirmation.

I was just looking into this today because I was thinking of going with 20x11's in the rear! lol

Pretty crazy, almost enough to make me change my mind about wheel sizes. Those Dunlops are expensive!

It appears that Dunlop 325 is not available as a 25, but as a 30 aspect. Come on Michelin man up and build us a few tires

As am i - but you can run a 305 width on a 20" rim still, just need to change the front width from a 245 to a 235 to match up correctly and keep the AWD safe.
