Prices on cars like these always dip a bit going into winter, and rise some going into the warmer months. Plan to buy and sell accordingly

Ok I am not driving mine anymore. Putting it away and saving it for someone else. Getting a Mustang GT-350.

If I was ready, I would buy now. I'll be ready in the spring. There's a clean 997TT with 23,000 miles with an asking price of $62,000. Oh my...

You must be getting a big tax return. That's a good deal!

Prices have finally dipped! I scooped up mine for 15k less than what I was seeing just 3 months ago.

Keep on checking auto trader and haggle when you see a deal.

Then post pics!

I am also in the market for late winter early spring. My local dealer had a 2008 cab with few options for $83 with 5k miles. Which for a P dealer i didnt think was horrible. Although if some of you are finding them for 60's with ~20k miles, i think i will be traveling to pick mine up.

I purchased my from Porsche of Westwood from Jeff (great guy).

I flew from Washington, D.C. To Boston to get it.

2009, 17k miles, CPO, sport chrono, etc. 70k. There are a lot of people with better deals but it reflects the winter drop.

Look now and buy in the winter, traveling is really cheap these days with southwest, JetBlue, Virginia and totally worth it. Jeff even covered the cab to the dealership from the city (another 100 bucks).

Congratulations and great price. I do agree on the traveling aspect especially if there is a better deal. I know i am probably not in the norm, but i would like to buy a lightly modded one. Possibly off of a forum member, so that the car might have a little history to read up on.

Alas it is a tip. It's my first true sports car and will be getting a reasonable of PCA DE while also being mostly a DD, so wanted to start with a tip before taking the plunge to the 6MT.

Sorry for all the grammatical errors. Rereading the quotes is hurting my soul. Damn iPhones.

Just came across this thread...I'm amazed that there was a point where you could get a 997.1 Turbo with a stick for $50k. That's nuts.

So prices have just crept up? I'm seeing $70k range for anything from 40k miles to 60k miles. That's kinda nuts...

I wonder if the winter month price dip still applies to the 997 Turbo's...and even the 997.1 GT3's. There are crazy high mile (well, for a GT3) examples listed no less than $90k right now.

Where did you see someone saying 6mt coupes were $50k? The only cars consistently that low will be salvage titles or ones with accidents, and/or 100k+ miles. And occasional outliers, I suppose.

Otherwise the 6mt coupes have pretty much held steady in the high $50s to low $70s the past few years for good examples.

I'm starting to keep track. 5 cars on cargurus with 25-35k miles, 2007-2008, manual. average asking price $75,971 with average mileage of those being 30k miles
