Rear sway bar question

I had my wife order me a GT2 rear sway bar for Christmas from Suncoast (sent her the link to order) and the sway bar delivered has the part number 997.333.701.96 which as best as I can tell is for a GT3. The GT2 part number is 997.333.701.94. In fact I can't even find reference to the sway bar I was sent on Suncoast's website. Since I can't call them until probably Monday I was hoping someone can shed some light on this. I have a 997.1 turbo btw. Happy Holidays!

This seems to have dimension info and then next post says GT3 was deleted for GT2 in both? Check what yours measures?

I really rate this mod. Amazing what a difference it makes to dialling out understeer.

They're the same part even though different part nos.

From 2010 when gen 2 GT3 introduced they used the GT2 ARB to help dial out understeer.

997.1 Turbo w/o rear diff lock 21.7 x 3.0mm
997.1 Turbo with rear diff lock 22.5 x 3.5mm

997.1 GT3/RS 23.6 x 3.5mm
997.1 GT2 / 997.2 GT3 25.2 x 4.4mm

Correct bar part number is 997.333.701.94. This is what I have on 08 TT.

Ohh, you may want the bushings also. 997.333.792.94. You'll need two.

For those of you who might be interested I just confirmed with Suncoast Porsche that the sway bars are the same despite having different part numbers. The bar ending in .96 superseded the bar ending in .94.

I just bought the GT2 rear and the .94 is now .96 as others mentioned. Can't wait to try it out out on the spring and see if it makes much of a difference.
