I have no clue why ppl keep on mentioing doing home work, its someone's car and he wishes to push it as is STOCK for now till his parts arrive, it has nothing with with wht some are saying.. i paid for parts i should get them in time , correct, with support period...

I didnt get any... simple enough thats why i shared although the turbos are installed and everything is top notch but when i look back i dont wana be there again, Thats why i emailed him to ask if he can get the same turbos in time without wht happened again i am all for it for other friends and needed help with wastegates because i need bigger ones since i have the 10psi which maxes out at 20psi or so and i need the 17psi but no reply, for not replying to that email i can look away since he is busy getting married so no worries and best of luck for him and bless them both, but back then THEIR was NO excuses for what happened...

ok let me fill in a few blanks here since you choose not to.

1. 6 week delay in shipping. this was because you first wanted them shipped to fl. then you wanted them shipped to kuwait but you never gave srm the kuwait address to ship them to. after 4 or more weeks you emailed me about the delay and i found this out. once the address was given you had immediate shipment.

i could be wrong and once sean gets back ill ask because i dont know of any efr turbos being drop shipped from the factory. if they were you wouldnt have gotten any water lines with the turbos since srm makes those lines in house.

as for the cost you were given a discount because you told me they were going on your car NOT being resold to another customer. srm has a dealer buy in which which you are well aware of and chose not to become a dealer. so first you wanted k24/71 2 sets. then efr 2 sets . then none. then 1 set of efr with the same discounts applied to dealer so you could "REPRESENT" srm overseas. the reply was a shipped price less than retail to make a customer happy. i have over 20 emails from you since dec of last yr asking tons of questions and if you didnt like the answer then you went in your own direction.
if parts were missing thats on srm and if they were made aware it appears they fixed it. as for fitment i have a set of efr 7163 on stock headers on my 996 turbo and the fitment would be the same. bolted right on with zero issues other than clocking the turbos for better fitment. did you do that?
could the customer service be better? certainly. but be honest when you complain and tell the entire story not just what makes you look like a screwed over customer.
srm is a small shop with some growing pains. if anybody could see the huge amount of hrs they spend in the shop trying to keep up with the fuel systems, turbos, intercoolers, (996tt,997tt,991tt audi ) and engine builds its a daunting task. i for one am a huge fan and i aslo have had issues. but i see the bigger picture of what a shop like this can give to the porsche community rather than what the deficeit is. just my .02 on that.

Thanks for ur response the k24 and 7163 choice was before payment ur correct brother but when i paid at the end it was the for 7163.. it has nothing to do with wht we discussed and yes i mentioned i really wanted even more kits since i emailed sean again 10 days or so hut without wht happened..

When payment was made it took so long as i said till I got them which was mentioned and it has nothing to where they should be dropped , the choice of drop was to save on shipping only..

When parts were i had almost no reply which i had to run around between you, sales, sean, the forum to private msg SRM... should i be doing that ? Noo..

Wht differece would it make if i got a discount or not? If i wanted to represent u guys .. the deal is i had alot of missing parts and i knew it was not very easy to install it like other non vtgs but things i had to custom make was hard as hell, if only their was more support things would have been better..

So i just shared wht i figured was an experience nothing against u or sean or anyone. Its a fact that wht ever u say wont change the facts..

Regardless of where delivery address was or how many kits i got or if i got any discount..

And abt questions ur all over it as if I have no right to ask wht i want to represent? I asked and asked till i was sure it was right thing for me and yes needed 2 but someone backed out and its for the best with wht happened to me i wouldnt be alive with 2 cars opened up with no parts so thats filling some blanks for you rigth there..

And finally yes i tried everything to make it fit and it did but still was too close to the tire which was not safe in my terms so as others advised after i posted a spacer is needed..

If you think my thread is pointless and am 10000% wrong and i am talking non sense feel free to ask ops to delete it, i took ur opinion and trusted ur advise and when it was time for ur help u did wht u can as for sales and qustions i raise my hat for you for that but as a product sales and customer support which is What am talking abt here and experience it was not full of happiness..

i never said your thread was pointless only that there is more to the story than your telling. its not up to me to delete your thread or ask for it thats up to you. in the past i have helped sean with internet sales so he can build parts and not spend hours responding to 20+ emails asking for discounts when you were told that if you wanted discounts there was a buy in. and yet here you are still trying to buy more parts for resale without the buy in. i dont receive any payment for helping the shop i merely pass on all the info im not able to respond to. once he started a sponsership on the forum i could no longer help him.
the choice of were to ship may have been to save on shipping but when you decided to ship them overseas you NEVER gave him your address so he couldnt ship them. that was a large part of the delay
im sorry you didnt have the best experience . i tried to help as much as i could but when i told you i no longer did the sales help you get all pissed off.
i dont know why your having fitment issues. i run the exact same turbos with 305/35-18 rubber and theres huge amounts of room. the turbos arent anyway near the tires.

I kept quite all this time and should have wrote it when it was happening but u know wht i always gave hiim a break for the work and load he has .. sean thankfully replied at the the end when i was getting pissed from no reply and gave me a phone number to call then he said to call or SMS him easier than emails because he never receives my emails, i bought it and waited for parts and waited then no response again at all phone,sms,email so I decided to imagine he doesn't exist and do it my self with some of the missing parts etc etc and missin lines came in the end up eventually after a long time and i did it although their was some help needed and fittings missing and the tires were too close and hitting using 305 30 19 but no response...

And i emailed again abt needing more kits if the nightmare will not happen again and better support is given then again no reply, ppl are saying he is getting married so it doesn't count but isnt their anyone else in sales? For example i am stuck needing a bigger waste gate and also no reply just like before ... so i gave up honestly i should be and deserve a better experience atleast for needing a 1 part from them,

Thanks for ur reply though and ur suggestion for the turbo the 7163 is no doubt exactly as good as you said it was no onr can say anything abt that specially the spool 12psi to 13psi at 3550 and 4450 full boost which is 19psi..

This thread is sharing my personal experience that occured in my life thats all regardless wht product i bought or from who but for sure if it was a better experience i would have shared also but using all the positive and good points since no negative was experienced..

like i said in the email please send me a list of what parts are missing and what you need and ill try to help. in the end my goals are for anyone who owns a turbo porsche to have the fast car they want so let me see what i can do.
