NeunElfa is infamous around these parts
Holy cow! Well that's just an insane outlier deal. Even in 2016, that's easily a $70k+ car, assuming it's a 6-speed coupe. I'd love to know what that seller was thinking.

(I just noticed you're in Stuttgart - are you talking German marketplace?)

The dealer was still asking 72k even with those issues. However he did replace the plugs. It's at a vw dealership in Springfield,MO for anyone interested.

I even passed on a what seemed like an ideal turbo as well. 07, white/black,6spd,adaptive seats, tech art kit,wheels,exhaust,tune,32k miles for low 60k's, clean PPI. I'll probably regret it one day but life goes on and hopefully I'll be able to get in a 991 turbo one day.

I was referring to 93ls1rx7's $50k robbery. $72k does sound high for yours considering it sounds a bit ragged, especially for such low miles. That seems like the stuff that accrues over 70k miles and multiple owners, not 30k.

I understand I was lucky but it does happen
Wow!!! That HAS to be the deal of the century! Good on you for getting such an amazing deal.

I am in Stuttgart (Military stationed over here) but this is a US Spec car sold by a US citizen.

Is there more of a story to that? You have to admit that $50k for that car is pretty ludicrous. I'm super jealous of the deal you got!

There is a Porsche dealer in Springfield (had my 996 Turbo radiators replaced there in Jan. of 2015) and I think there is also a VW dealer there in the same facility.

That's insaaaaaaaane.

Just a base 08 turbo in decent shape with 25k miles going for 50k is exceptionally lucky. What you got is on another level. Did the seller have dementia or something?

That is a full ~25k too high for such a ragged out car. Pass. There isn't even any point in negotiating here.
