Transmission Emergency Mode ???

This morning I was driving to work. After about 5 minutes while at a stop light I got something like "Trasmission Emergency Mode" and "Transmission Over-Heated." Before that I drove very slow and I wasn't even at 150 yet. The outside temp was about 60 F. I was not in Sport mode.

I then carefully accelerated and it seemed to hesitate. Then about 15 seconds later the message and little exclamation point went away and it drove like normal until I got to work 10 miles later.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I'll be going to the dealer tomorrow. Hopefully, it's just a faulty sensor.

Thanks!

I had something similar happen a few years ago, was due to a weak battery. Might want to check that out.

Actually, I just had the battery replaced a couple months ago. I'll definitely mention it to them in case my battery is faulty. Thanks!

‘steering wheel more that 10 degrees’

I can’t see anything in the official service bulletin that says you can’t turn the steering wheel more that 10 degrees. Where did that come from?
