its a nice shifter, i like the feel of porsche OEM 997 SSK more

From what I understand, the shift throw distance is the same (or just slightly shorter) as the OEM 997. What you get is upgraded billet aluminum left/right pivot bushings instead of plastic. To get reduced shift throw distance you need the (997 SSK or similar aftermarket).

I would get a Numeric SSK instead? If too much then OEM 997 SSK IMO

For some reason they don't recommend the factory SSK kit for .2TT manuals. Says it in the product description on suncoast.

It says not recommended for Turbo S which doesn't even have a manual transmission.

I just checked the link again... It's thrownjg me off by saying 2009-2012 as they didnt make an S those years. I guess I'm good to purchase the factory ssk?

Go with the Numeric.
Hands down best shifter.

...Although ensure that you have the latest version, mine had the original bolt and the shifter disconnected from the body frame after 6 months, while trying to put it in reverse (bolt was de-threaded). They sent a replacement bolt, replacing the brass pin with a steel one.

Yes. I have a 997.2 turbo manual with an OEM SSK.

Thinking about the bbi slave conversion as well, but again can't find much about it on a 997.2tt manual...
