Are these stock bixenon with blacked out internals? Or something that can be purchased without modification?

You can pop them in, but the moving dynamic light part won't work. All the actual lights work though. There's a good thread on the forum about swapping them if you dig it up in a search. Hope that helps.
ah, that really helps. They're not dark grey inside after all. Must be the lighting + polarized filter on the camera

Bought one - very cheap looking CF - sent it back. The CF was very cheaply/poorly laid and it looked worse than CF stuff i used to run on my integra in college...
