ERP clutch ..

Hey , I would like to ask you about the erp clutch kit ,
am facing issues shifting the car in high RPM !!? Very hard to move the *** shift to next gear !?
Is that common issue with ERP ? Or it's the clutch oil pump ?!!!

Thanks in advance

Probably not fully disengaging...throwout or fork bearings may be the cause ...

Do you use a clutch stop?

Look into the protomotive twin clutch setup, uses mostly oem parts and can take the power and then some .... Very user friendly in traffic too ...

Good luck ,..

The sycn are almost new ! Am thinking to change the
upper pump to make sure it's fine or I may go for GT2 slave kit .. but still looking what's the best ..

I heard about protomotive clutch , it's holding fine in my friend ES1200 perfectly !!!

do you have the "LATEST" revision ? i ALWAYS had issues w my ERP esp in higher rpms and it the car is loaded up from a lower rpm range - say 4th gear pull - 3500 rpm to red line --good luck getting the OUT.

I went through 3-4 revisions. Last one was almost a new clutch setup (again from ERP) but they went smaller on discs - I think from 8.xx to 7.xx. Currently my 3rd gear is toast so I am not driving my car so I am not sure if the issue is there (again) but if it is... I am DONE w ERP. I do have the GT2 slave conversion. I tried with and without clutch stop - no difference

I heard about the Proto clutch too - but another big build guy said it did not hold up. Can not verify this bec I heard from a middle man.

ERP seems to have many issues

Proto clutch works, I make over 1k and it does fine. Keep in mind I do not drag the car, BHT did and ran 9's (from what I recall).

If you want a one-stop shop go with Tilton.

End of story

You have to use the tilton clutch bro. The erp does not work with high rpm.

Thanks for the replies , I was thinking to buy the SRM clutch which I tested in my friend GT2 1160rwhp which hold very very fine and drive friendly .. but it's very hard to get in touch with SRM guys !

I run a Protomotive twin clutch balanced with the flywheel, 1000crank hp - 1135Nm (840lbs) redline 7400: smoother vs oem and no issue at all, but as Ms4cd I don't launch the car. As this kit uses organic marcels a carbon clutch is better for draging.

I'm in love with the Tilton. Use the heavy flywheel to make it easier to drive, and it should last longer between shims as well.
