Video of my 997.1 dyno run today
So a 4 wheel drive mustang dyno showed my car making 508hp at the wheels in a 4th gear pull. 1/4 mile trap speed 132. Max torque at 2850rpm and max HP at 5950rpm. This was avg of 3 pulls. They had just ran dyno with a new z28 Camaro built for track racing and a Toyota Supra built for drag racing. Both produced numbers accurate to the car. They think my car must have a tune on it. Do the 997.1 turbo turbos gain HP over time or are manufacturers numbers that skewed? He said 508 at wheels is like 600 at crank. I thought car was stock. I recorded video from my phone but don’t know how to put video in this box took a screen shot of video

The guy running dyno says that 505 HP at wheels is like 600-650 at crank. I’ve been under the car and it it’s all stock. Stock cats, stock turbos, stock headers, stock exhaust, and everything on the intake side up tops is all stock. How do I tell if there’s a tune and by what company the tune could possibly be from? Everybody that rode said it felt very fast for a stock car but I didn’t really know. It does 100 in low 7 seconds easily and consistently (using Sport Chrono clock) on the road in real life. I always clinch my entire body stiff when accelerating so I never feel the thrust. I was wanting to get car tuned but if it’s already tuned no need to waste money.

This car is for sure not stock my car made similar power on mustang and 560 on dynojet with lots of bolt ons ...I am on stock turbos tho...enjoy it you have a beast...also as some members have responded look at your boost gauge and see what your max psi is stock is 15 with sport button anything more and your tuned ..my car taps out at 17-18 but was looking for reliability..

The dash gauge will not show any higher than 15psi or 17psi on sport mode. You have to datalog it to see the real boost level - using Durametric or Cobb Accessport or similar...
