I did a bunch of searches on this and ended up with a Harmony Dreamtime seat. Several other forum members have these. Got top safety ratings even though it is very inexpensive. It fits into the rear perfectly. This is a full back booster seat with the Halo head protection though. Not sure if that is what you are looking for or if you are talking about a rear facing infant seat.

Thanks for the recommendation! Also, I didn’t know the seat cushion was removable. That will be helpful

Hey , try to check here https://cutelittledarling.com/best-c...or-4-year-old/ . When I was having the same issue as you, I've written many reviews from different companies to search for the best one... Just keep in mind that everything is essential when it comes to a car seat for your child, from the car model to your child's favorite color. From my experience, my son, Ted, was really scared of his red car seat. I don't know why, but I couldn't make him sit there without him crying. Hopefully, I could help ^^
