Couldn't agree more. Its getting ridiculous how much people let these reports affect their buying decision. I'm not saying some can't be bad, if you have 200 ignitions in range 6 sure pass on it, but in this case i'm sorry to the op, this car was 100% fine with no engine damage possible. The fact you passed on it because of 2 ignitions in range 4 is IMO ridiculous. Thats my opinion and i mean no disrespect.
the DME report is the tool for everyone who's just STARTING to learn about these cars. 99% of them are nothing to worry about
I bought my car without requesting one, and I'm sure that with my custom tune I would see something in range 4, but I've never missed a shift and the motor is strong.

You are good to go...if the PPI checks out I would not hesitate to buy a car with one slight stage 4 overrev noted in the DME. My 2 cents anywho. Having said that I would not be happy with the dealership that "transported" it.
