Newbie question!

Firstly, happy holidays to all of you!
So, I've been looking for a 996tt cab for some time now. I find it ridiculous how much they have been going for. I'm in Canada so some prices are still some what affordable! However, lots are coming into 997 range! Since I've been looking at 997's there's something I'm having trouble understanding! Why are 2007 more expensive than 2008's? Is there a reason for this that I don't know?
Thanks for the information in advance!

There's no reason for 07s to be more expensive than 08s. They are identical, and 07s are way more common thanks to the financial crash in 08. 2009s can demand a premium for the updated interior, rarity and "last Mezger" mystique.

If anything, later 08s should be worth more because in the middle of the model year they changed the coolant pipe adhesive to mitigate the issue with them popping off the engine.
