Out of curiosity, what kind of jack stands did you use? I was under the impression you need to be more than 2 feet off the ground. The stands I have wouldn't get anywhere near that.

I have some fair sized ones from NAPA like this: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BPQ5150175 Not sure if those are the good sized ones. I might be more or less 2 feet, not sure. I had to lift my car higher to pull the engine out from under the car once it was on the ground. You should have a few safety blocks under there as well in case it falls, people get killed working under cars. It is really sturdy though, just being safe. My transmission jack is something similar to this: https://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com...td-7435-02.htm I use a normal jack under the trans and the trans jack under the engine at the same time.
