Low boost 997TT

Hi all, i'm having a low boost problem with my 2007 997 TT. It seems to me that the VVG is not working . I get no boost until 3,500 rpm then it's a rocket 17 lbs of boost
Just dead in the low revs . Any ideas? Thanks Ian in NM

Have you done a boost leak test? been chasing a P0299 under boost code turned out the passenger side VTG linkage was disconnected, Can seem to hold pressure at 20 psi it drops 1 psi every 12 seconds.
Not getting the P0299 code now a P0303 misfire!

Jay P , thanks for the thought , If I floor it it 6th gear at 2000rpm it will take 10 seconds for the engine to go to 3000 rmp, just no VTG
I checked the actuator arms they are free to move as per tec service campain
I'll be back from Mexico next Monday
Thanks for the thoughts
ian
