.1 turbo to .2 rear end - fast indicators?

I've just fitted a new rear control unit from the gen 2 that supports rear LED and coded them in.

With this, everything works apart from in the car the indicators appear to flash quickly, even though all is normal on the outside.

There is also a warning in the cluster for left and right direction signal. No fault codes in the rear control unit, but in the front there are codes for the direction indicators.

It looks like the front module has coding for the REAR direction indicators as well as the front. The front are already set to LED. I coded the rear to LED and it has made no difference even though the coding seems to have been accepted.

Do i need an updated front control module? I thought the .1 turbo front module is ok due to it have LED front indicators from factory.

Thanks!

It sounds like you're looking at it the right way - you could try add resistors in line with the rear indicators?

Used resistors in the just for the rear indicators.

All good now, but curious as to why I had to.
