What’s this button?

Looking at a used 997TT and not sure what this button does.
I guess it could be anything. Any ideas? Blue toggle button. Exhaust, map, meth?

Be sure to post back here once you figure out what it is, I've never seen anything like it either and am intrigued.

It is generaly where a panic button is, if your car have a GPS tracker installed, you can remove the srews around the fuse boxe and when pulling the carpet , see where the wires go

It looks like the on/off switch for a Transit Blu adapter to allow you to hook up an MP3 type player in place of the CD. There should be a large cable or other connector to connect the device.

I use an Ipod for mine and had removed the CD from the frunk and installed a MOST loop in addition to the module and wiring needed. The module and wiring are in behind the center console for me.

I had a similar button in my 997 turbo that was used to deactivate the MObridge system when the car was in for service.

Glad that helped. It looked exactly like what I installed, though I tucked mine on the side of the center console in the carpet.
