Brake fluid for DD?

Hello all,

I'm looking at adding some stainless steel brake lines to my Black Friday parts order and am wondering if I should also be looking at upgrading the brake fluid. I daily my car, but do have plans for a few track days next season. I'm guessing that the OEM fluid or something like Pentosin Super DOT 4 would be more than sufficient for my needs, but if the cost to upgrade isn't too great I might be open to changing... as long as it doesn't require a lot more maintenance.

Thoughts?

I change my brake fluid at a minimum of every 2 years. I am using Motul 600 right now, but have used a variety of well known synthetic products over the year. The key is changing the fluid out on a regular basis.

Thanks for the input Ed.

Do you know if there is anything I need to be aware of or cautious about when changing from what I assume is the OEM type fluid to something like Motul synthetic?

None. Just do your normal due diligence in moving out the old and not introducing any air when doing the job. A Motive bleeder is handy.
