URO RS engine mounts???
URO RS engine mounts???
Hi all,
To those who have upgraded to RS engine mounts and used the URO brand instead of the OEM Porsche parts, I'd like to know if there have been any/many product quality issues? I understand that there are some strong opinions on only using OEM parts, but the prices difference is ridiculous so I'm trying to gather more information and I've read a few stories of the URO mounts failing, but I'm hoping to get some firsthand accounts - both for and against.
Cheers

I looked at those, but wound up going with the Function First urethane filled mounts. I didn't want to go hard corps, and these seemed like a reasonable alternative. Since they were just filling the stock mounts, my expectation is they should have a good lifetime.
Since I did their trans inserts (Sport) and GMG sways, a lot changed in the suspension, but the result is that the car hooks up quickly and without it shaking it's butt around.
The URO mounts did have my attention though.

I ended up going with the Torque Solutions semi-solid mounts offered on sale by Vivid Racing ... they arrived this week and I'm planning to install them over the holidays if it works out.
