Oil Extractor for 911 997.2

What does anyone think about using one of these for doing the oil change on a 911 997.2 car?

I was at the MB dealer with a friend picking up his car and we went back into service to get the air valve covers that were left off when they replaced a damaged wheel.

While back there I saw the tech changing the oil filter and noticed that the car was having the oil extracted with an air hose and a tube down the dip stick. I said it that how you always do this and he said yes. I said it this how the factory recommends it? He said absolutley. Said he has worked for Audi in the past and they do this as well. I asked about getting all the oil he said you never get it all all the time in either case.

Wondering is that would be OK for our cars. Would sure make it easy to do !

He used an air powered unit but I found this on amazon that accomplishes the same thing.

Thanks for your thoughts

After further research, our cars do not have a dip stick so there is no way to thread the tube into the oil pan to drain it.

Oh-Well.

Why not just use the drain plug?

I don't have a lift, but will invest in ramps or possibly a quick jack.

Really have not done any DIY on this car bc I have been a little intimidated by it but I need to get over that.

How do you guys reset the oil service light? I have an Autell and wonder if that will do it?

Thanks

I did mine without even lifting it. I just drove the car up on like some 2x6 wood pieces and I could slide my oil pan under it.

and yeah, that should be able to reset the light. My Foxwell was able to
