Doesn't the overboost come in automaticly when you go wot? i.e press the pedal all the way to the floor. Or have I just made that up in my head?

I thought the overboost only came with the sport chrono package. Wasn't sure if there was an actual button to activate it.

There won't be an " overboost button "...as Zlaatan said before you just need to floor the gas pedal and you'll have few seconds of power boost...I'm sure of that!
After the boost calm down you'll have to wait to have it again...
That's not the better way to have it but...anyway...

So basically sport chrono on the 997tt is already overboosted from the factory?? So basically you can get the car with either 480 or 505hp..

All reports I have seen only comment on Torque increases, don't know if HP really increases.

It's only a increase in torque, no hp.

That is my understanding also. Overboost is only available with the sport chrono, and only for ten seconds at wot. I don't know how long you have to wait for it to be available again.
