Went to see the launch car today. This car is stunning in Cobalt, I even like the wheels

I notice it has painted side skirt option, is the front lip painted or un-painted?

May be old news, or even plain wrong, but the latest version of the car configurator removes the premium for selecting cobalt. Another 2+ grand savings for those of you choosing this color (which is beautiful BTW)

iLLM3, Porsche did a swap. Cobalt which used to be more expensive is now a regular mettalic paint and Lapis, which used to be a regular mettalic paint, is now a premium colour.

Actually, that's not true. Cobalt blue IS still a special metallic color but Lapis blue is not. At least that's the belief I was given based on my order which shows that I'm paying $2,230 for Cobalt blue.
