I love Guards, you all know that. But something about these pictures just does not say 'grab me' 'want me' 'drive me' 'buy me'....

Know what I mean? Could be the wheels, they look better on silver or black.

I'm not a fan of red at all, but I do like the way the car looks in the pics above. The stock wheels look terrible on red though.

 

Eric, The car looks washed out. I do believe it is the wheels that take away from the over all appearance.!!!

 

The wheels are killing the car imo. i'm a big fan of the red as well, but the nose of that car is lacking for me. i'm not sure what it is...is it less aggressive? I can't quite put my finger on it, but like the 996 tt nose much more.

I love red on the 997tt

 

I'm not very fond of the Guards red also if it's a sweet colour for sure...I always prefer Slate or Atlas

 

I think the drawback of all 997's is the round headlights. This effects the entire flow of the car. The round "original" lights work great on 993's and back, because the body is slightly smaller. this to me is why the 996tt looks better for a car designed in 1999 compared to one designed in 2004

 

disagree. car looks sick in most other pics in red. and this, coming from a dark color grey guy.
