The Process Has Started - The Official "EVOlution of a 997TT" Thread

Personally, I think it fits the lines better than the turbo front bumper. The chiseled air openings for the center radiator go better with the rear intercooler inlet ducts and the shape of the rear bumper. I thought the OEM 997TT front bumper was too round in my opinion.
Additionally, we added our carbon side mirrors with a different look. We left the bottom portion silver with the carbon top portion. I like the way it looks with the distinct contrasting colors. I think it makes the mirrors stand out more while highlighting the aerodynamic shape of the 997 mirrors.
Later this week we will be adding our carbon headlight covers and rear roof spoiler. I will post more photos then. Here are some photos that we took today after completing this conversion.

Thanks Guys for the feedback and comments. The GT3 bumper is NOT a direct replacement bumper. It takes allot of modifications to get it to work properly. As it stands now, I am not sure how we can make a replacement kit for this conversion. If there is enough interest, we will figure a way to make it a plug and play installation. Let me know.

Regarding the power upgrades and suspension. We have been working with GIAC on the flashing and switching of the ECU. The programming and debugging of the system has been completed for some time now. All last week was spent working on a flashing suite, a strong encryption as well as the platform to support multiple programs. Garrett and I will be testing all of these items this week and we should have updates soon.
<o =""></o>The Moton suspension upgrades that we have planned are ready to be installed. We are working on the electronics of the PASM in order to prevent system faults. I think the PASM is a good all around system for the street, however not the ideal system for more aggressive applications. Additionally, I have driven cars with PASM and lowering springs and I am not a big fan. I think that there is a major compromise in order to achieve a look. We are not concerned with the look rather we want a 997TT that will handle like a streetcar or be dialed in for the road course. We will document the entire process here shortly. Stay Tuned

Todd, keep up the great work!!! You know that I will be one of your first customers!!
Don't forget about those seats, remember
Also I can't wait to hear your thoughts on what exhaust/straight pipe set you will be using. The silence of the stock exhaust is killing me. I don't think I have ever gone this long with a stock exhaust
Keep up the progress!!!

Car looks beautiful Todd. Mirrors and front end are just awesome. I love that two-tone paint job on the CF mirrors. Need that for my car.
I like my setup on my 997 with PASM and lowering springs. For whatever reason, I think it is more compliant and rides better in Sport mode now than before. But what I really want, obviously, is a fully adjustable setup for my car that is PASM-compatible, so that ideally I can just switch between road and track settings I have preselected and dialed-in, all at the touch of a button in the cockpit. Hope springs eternal.
Car looks great. Can't wait to come see the new shop. - Russ

As Todd states, this thing is a pain in the **** to make work. We started it about the same time, I just ran out of time to work on it. We are ready to send it to the paint shop tomorrow. Thank gawd!

Here is the factory light which fits....not.

Here is the light we have made so far. Talk about time consuming. It is silly how much work this has taken. I can convet a 930 to EFI in the same amount of time and probably tune it.
