September Road and Track: 997TT v. Viper v. z06 v. F430 v. Gallardo v. Ford GT

This is a very interesting article that tests the vehicles in a variety of conditions (almost entirely track based).

The F430 was the quickest around the track, followed by the Gallardo. Sadly the 997TT came in last place for lap time. The Porsche did come in third in regards to 'value' (Cost/Track Speed). Nice article, everyone should pick it up.

The Gallardo faster than Turbo on track? that's strange.. I think the upcoming Turbo S will be 1st.

the article is BS

the numbers generated in this article were the same numbers published in the Italian press and proven to be crap. Italian Porsche lovers ripped the Quatroruote rag another a$$hole about the numbers. The mag claimed that the clutch on the turbo seemed fried.

The two Italian cars pushed numbers that were better relative to the other cars than ever generated by anyone else.

An o6 gallardo will be faster round a track,EVO magazine recently tested it on its track and it beat the 997tt..but the 997tt was the faster than the 430 on the track.
