Returning with a Turbo

My 1st post here although I have been lurking for what seems forever. I've had a 944, 944 Turbo and a 968 and then I moved to the BMW camp for quite some time. My return to the Porsche camp was supposed to be in a 997 C2S but somehow I got side tracked and the Turbo got my attention. Production date is set for September 15th so here's the spec.

Basalt Black
Natural Grey Leather
Adaptive Sport Seats
Heated Front Seats
Park Assist
Sport Chrono
Remote CD Changer
Black Mats - Porsche Lettering
Sport Shifter
Thicker Steering Wheel
Porsche Crest in Headrest
Axle Diferential Lock

Hoping to enjoy her for a couple of months before winter hits. The waiting is really starting to get to me.

Regards,
T.

Congrats! Should be sweet. I keep telling - you have no winter down there!

Here's a thought: I know your dealer. You may wish to insist that they not wash the car prior to delivery to you. Trust me.

Tony, nice to see you getting a 997TT. A black Porsche is simply classy.

Look forward to your feedback.

Cheers.

Yeah I know you've been telling me about the winter thing for a while. Not sure the weatherman is on the same page as you though. Thanks for the cleaning tip. I have already made that request. Seems that the dealers are really weak in the cleaning and detailing dept.

Thanks for the welcome. Obligatory pics are duly noted.

Thanks again Jason. I think I might just make up that one day headstart your car has when your's makes the trip to the west coast.

That's an awesome spec Jason, she'll be beauty. I almost went with Cobalt but after seeing a Basalt Turbo in the flesh, I had to go with it.

I've spent many hours admiring many of your pics so I chose this one as my Avatar.... at least until I can make my own.

This wait has not been too bad (yeah right), I waited 7 months for my M5. Look forward to meeting you and seeing your car in the future.

Dudes, as long as Terk agrees, we should all hook up in Italian Mexico the day he takes delivery. We could deposit some drool on his car and have some fun with ours!
