PDK/DSG/S-Tronic are a completely different kettle of fish...

I love the "fail to find", so true.

The GT2 should always be wild... no PDK!
the only thing these new gears are good at the track is they can hold make you enter a turn faster, by holding the gear and maintain high rpm as in Heel-toeing in the manual, but not eveybody can do it.

I guarantee a DSG/PDK/S-Tronic car will kick major A at an autocross because it will staying on-boost and/or in the powerband all the time. Also, the car is up to .5 sec quicker to 60mph no matter what the application is.

All I am hoping for is that Porsche makes the 997GT2 as raw and as special as the 996GT2 with more rawness to it.
The GT2 stands for something special and does not need creature comforts of the regular Turbo. I would not want it if one of the options was a tippy transmission is what I wanted to say, that just would not be right for a GT2 no matter how much quicker to 60mph it makes it.
A PDK I would consider a step up and I am assuming is what is holding up Porsche from unveiling it.
