Through PCM or the 2nd left stalk on the steering column. It works pretty well without the MF steering wheel. I have the MF steering wheel and mostly use the stalk to make calls from my phone book or answer calls.

Do you remove the chip from your phone everytime you get in the car? Or do you forward your number to the PCM phone when you get in the car? Either way, it seems kind of a hassle. Wish there were a better solution.

Since the US cell carriers do not allow a cloned SIM chip, unlike European cell carriers, I have two cell phones. My work phone I forward to my car phone when I'm in it.

I agree...I wish they had a OEM Bluetooth solution...

I installed the Parrot 3100 Bluetooth device this weekend. Works relatively seamlessly with the stock TT PCM. When you make or answer a call the PCM is muted and reads "external phone active" on the PCM screen. Very happy with this sub $200 investment. I used info from BeckerAutosound.com, Parrot.biz forums, Rennlist forums to gather wiring and PCM removal info.

Multifunction is difficult to use.

The multifunction wheel is very hard to use and most of the time I reach for the center console. Almost any changes require looking at the center console to see what is happening. I can't dial the phone or change CD or CD tracks without looking at the center.

Is there a way to get all the center console information on the front guages?

Does Porsche have an OEM bluetooth solution on the way? It's a deal breaker for a daily driver for me. After a year with factory bluetooth and voice control in my M5, I'm never going back.

Im sure its on the way, but nothing firm. Parrot is the way to go for now.
I would venture a guess its at leat 2 more production years away.
