Has anyone powdercoated their stock wheels yet? I am debating to powdercoat or paint them to Matte Blk. thx

 

Do it, if it is possible and if you can do is compliment it by doing the inners in your cars exterior colour such as red for example; that might look good!

 

what color is your car? what color calipers?

 

His car is basalt black i believe, right Sam? I forgot if it was metallic or not LOL!! Sam i say do it, it will look SICK, or how about black chrome?

 

blk chrome would look nice.

 

I saw Black Chrome on a Black 360 Modena today and it looked hott!

 

i vote for semi-flat black and paint the lip to match whatever color your calipers are.

Check with some wheel experts - powder coating weakens the wheel because of the extreme heat. Paint is the way to go.

 

i got basalt blk with red calipers. I was thinking to just shoot them with matte black or semi flat black. Since my car is dropped with spacers, I think it would look pretty good and i wouldnt have to worry about bending a set of 7K aftermarket wheels here in NYC!

wouldnt gloss blk be too bling?? perhaps semi gloss is better...

now i just need to borrow a set of wheels to put on my car so i can remove the stockers and have them dropped off for the spray...

 

Gloss isnt blingy, it would compliment your black car nicely and not look spraypainted LOL!

 

im a personal fan of matte black...but for a 997...i would go with the shiny black...
