if you read available posts done during the last week or so, various people claim that they are getting up to $5000 off on avaialble 07's-none yet on 08's. believe it if you wish and try to duplicate their success, and i suggest you do a little home work and search for their posts.

My dealer gave me GT Silver for free, but not a discount on MSRP.

And if you (or anyone) are successful with getting a discount, please post your experience and if possible, dealer's name. I use others' "success story" as leverage with my own dealer.

BTW, I believe dealers will know their 08 allocations around end of April, beginning of May.

Discount on TT

I recently purchased a 997 TT GT Silver, SC, 6 spd, and a few other options that brought the sticker price to 130,000 from P dealer in Syracuse, NY. It was commited to another buyer who backed out at last minute. Dealer sold it to me with a discount of over 6K (123,600). I had been looking at purchasing a C4S but jumped when the TT was offered at that price. My lucky day. Only TT in the inventory and none expected by the dealer til the Cab comes out. Couldn't be happier with the purchase or the attitude of the dealer. Good deals buy customer loyalty.

Just wrapped up the deal on mine. I got an additional 2500 on my trade in and also 3000 off the sticker. though 2000 of the 3000 went to transportation costs involved in taking a car from Ohio to Texas and bringing my car from Texas to Ohio. had a hard time finding Terracotta interior so it was a matter of getting a car now or later and my money factor is so good now i had to have the car now.

I have seen the Black Turbo with the Black/Terracotta interior

The Black car was gorgeous with a lot of unique options like the black PCM, deviating carpet, black seat backs, and many other cool touches. The GT silver car was being driven by the owner and I have not seen it in person. Attached is a photo of the interior of the black car.

That combo isn't bad but the pure terracotta is too much for me.

Ditto, I agree and I am not big on 2 tone interiors. This one really looks nice. Love the PCM in black! Makes the 2 tone that much better.
