Done the search...

...but there is lots of variation in the photo quality and color rendition. I'm trying to find something accurate.

Not sure what to tell you - some pics are better than others. If your that interested guess you'll need to go look at one in person.

If You Want Something Done Right, Do It Yourself...

Okay, fine.

My new Meteor 997TT just arrived at the Port of San Diego on Wednesday , is en route to my dealer and I'll be picking it up this coming week.

Then I'LL post some accurate pictures -- promise.

Huh?? Geez, relax a bit. NONE of the pics here (and at other forums) are up to your standards? Your fist post asked for "actual" photos - as opposed to fake ones?

Use the search engine and type meteor. Lot's of pics. If none of them are suitable to you - again, don't know what to tell you. Sorry if no one here has the photo skills that you do.

And if your're picking up the car why would you ask for pics?

C4S Surgeon, thanks for the comment!

Now, E55AMG, let me get this right -- you're telling ME to relax? I asked a simple question and you, Mr. Passive/Aggresive, responds by chewing my head off.

First you come up with the brilliant suggestion that I go look at one in person. Gee, that hadn't occurred to me before I ordered one. Then you suggest that I have a problem with the quality of the pics on this and other forums, because they're not up to "my standards?" And the next question ("actual photos as opposed to fake ones") -- is that supposed to be a joke? Then you sarcastically apologize for everyone here not possessing the photo skills that I supposedly expect.

I guess you've forgotten the excitement of ordering and then waiting for your car to arrive and finally get the chance to take delivery. It's been on my mind 24/7 for the past 3 months. And during the waiting period, reading all I can on this and other boards has been both entertaining and informative. I was hoping that one of the members here might own a Meteor vehicle but hadn't yet posted pictures of it. There are a few who use an image of a Meteor or Slate car as their Avatar, but they look like they were taken from Porsche's Configurator, which is highly inaccurate, color-wise.

Re-reading your responses, I don't know why you're so hypercritical. I guess you don't have anything better to do with your time than to hang out on forums looking for victims to insult. It's no wonder you're located in N.Y. -- you deserve each other, and thankfully you're about as far from me as is possible.

Wow. My first post was not meant to "chew your head of". I sincerely apologize if that's how you took it. All I suggested was using the search function and looking at meteor in person. Doesn't have to be a TT. What was so terrible about that? Didn't know you had ordered one or were thinking about it.

You did ask for "actual" photos - someone else also suggested using the search function. There are a lot of pics here. And yes, some are better than others. You said yourself most pics are not very good or they all look different.

Your reply of "fine I'll do it myself" to my 1st post was a little strong.

I don't insult people on forums and those that know me here would agree.

And as far as forgetting the excitement of waiting for a car? I've been waiting for 6 months for my TT. Trust me, I know what it's like.
