Tire size question...

I did a search and couldn't find the answer so sorry if this is a rehash.

I bought a set of Techart 20's for my car. 20x12 rears and 20x8.5 fronts.

I want to run 255/30ZR20 fronts and 325/25ZR20 rears. Will these fit or will they rub?

Anyone with personal experience running this setup?

If you know the offsets you can get an idea by using the offset calculator at www.1010tires.com. I ran 245/30-20 and 325/25-20 on a C4. Front was oh so close to rubbing but didn't.

Depends on the offset.

255 is too wide for the front, you'll likely rub. 245/30 20 is the absolute biggest I would recommend, but is a bit taller than stock. 305/25 20 in the rear will give you the closest you will get to proper OD f/r and still fit the rims. You need to stay within 4% front to rear.

A Pirelli PZero Nero 325/25zr20 will get withing .6 of the front so I will be safe with diameter but will it rub?

ANUBIS is infamous around these parts
255 is to wide for the front, DEFINETELY - and make sure the tire or wheel height from front to rear is not more than 2% diff to the original size

I'll just settle this then.

I just ordered a set of 305/25ZR20's and a set of 325/25ZR20's. I'll mount one of each and see what happens when I put it on the ground. Nothing quite like experimentation.

The 305's measure 26"
The 325's measure 26.4"
The 245's measure 25.8"

Thats a 3% differnece in front and rear so technically, according to Damon, I am withing spec. Right?

ou I didnt even read damons comment, you have to go with

245 with 325
or
235 with 305

If you stay in that range you'll be fine and wont have any problem with the differential clutch.

325's fit perfectly. They are on the car right now and look fabulous. They have a ton of clearance. I think I could squeeze some 345's on there next...
