I hope you can work it out with the dealer. My dealer had no problems adding it and its configured that way and approved with those options. So I am going with the fact that it will work

If you order XPA its $310 and it applies to the Sport wheel ONLY. If you order CPA its $930 and this applies only to the multifunction wheel. You can't order both but you can change your order now if Porsche allows it. The dealer should not give you a hard time at all. It has nothing to do with him but it COULD delay your order although its not likely with that option. Steering wheels are custom made to order right before or during production. Its considered a custom option as they are truely hand made.

As far as I know it's spec'd as an 07MY. They will have to convince me to take the car if it doesn't have this option when it arrives. June 27th Build. I would have ordered the XPA version otherwise. I don't like the normal MF wheel it is too skinny and doesn't have the thick steering feel I like.

They were cool enough to make a call and get the whole car changed after the order was in production. Don't ask me how but they managed to modify their for stock allocation to customize it for me and still get me a June 27th build.
