I would add the LSD and strongly reconsider the painted lip etc. The reality is this part of the car scrapes easily and will probably need replacing at frequent intervals, I consider it a consumable item. Especially with lowering springs. Why do you think Porsche makes them out of black plastic in the first place?

In this is an email from Porsche. Show it to your dealer and have him interpret it.
great info all (esp. imcarnutz). the ordering process is very complicated and appreciate the help.
I realize the lip is consumable, but it looks to "stuck-on" in the black imho.

Its not standard because Porsche wants to make more $$ on your behalf.
Not only that vast majority do not need it nor do not understand what it does. Still, for the $$ its a no brainer if you plan on attending a driving event or 5.

Hi,
Congratulations! Mine is also Guards, October 2007 delivery. Do you know what month the production for this car is? Does June 2008 delivery mean May production?
If June 2008 delivery is what you want, then it's ok. Judging by the "frowning" face sign, it's not? YMMV, but there is no way I would accept a one year wait! By then, 2009 model will be right around the corner, with possible exterior and other changes.
Where are you located, surely there must be another dealer within a few hour drive from your house?
I didn't even know that allocation has been given for May 2006. Could someone here who works for a P. dealer confirm one way or another?
Regards,
Can

Outstanding! If you're going with deviated stitching, you might really want to consider the leather center console (XMZ) and the gear trim in leather (CDZ) to "fill" out the interior. Then also consider the leather sun visors (XMP) and dome lamp cover in leather (XZD). It's going to look fantastic. Black with deviated red is the best IMHO
I also echo others in adding LSD.
