With the Moton, you can pick and choose your spring rates depending on usage, and then fine tune for your driving style, or track conditions.
With the PASM, you are essentially stuck with what Porsche gave you.
The upper monoballs will also remove the rubber found in the OEM upper strut bearing. This will eliminate any deflection, meaning the shock does all the work dampening.
The rear upper control arms will also proper adjustment of camber, and allow you to get more creative with your alignment settings. This is ideal for dialing in your track set up.
We have yet to find a downside. The ride during street use is, in our opinion, better than stock. The car is incredible comfortable. We went with spring rates that I would describe as mild. Much firmer rates are available up request. There is no rattling, creaking, or strange noise of any kind.
When pushed at the track, there is no comparison. They are not even in the same league.
Again, no fault lights with our instruction on disabling the PASM with the OEM scan tool.
I hope this helps with your decision.
A must have for anyone who likes to track, they are outstanding, 2 years on, still flawless, easy to adjust (right setup is a different ballgame!) and outstanding quality. A bit stiff for the street maybe even at softest setting, but that's the compromise you have to make.
Wow! That's a great price for those! Wish you guys had something like that at that price for the 996 Turbo! Good stuff!

Have you exprerimented with lowering the nitrogen pressures? I have a lift chart I can fax you so you have a rough idea how much does what.
Mike,
Any preliminary thoughts on if the Moton's could be installed on the 997GT2? Presumably one could turn off the PASM on the GT2 with the SC system still working.
Thanks.

Mike, thanks. Jerome has adjusted them for me, I like them as they are since I live by the track and don't drive it much elsewhere. I did not think there could be much difference in comfort level, but if so, that's good news for the guys here. These are probably the best mod I have done, and I have quite a few

Yes, you need to move closer, or I move there and we open up AWE Texas.
The beef brisket alone is enough to make me start packing.

It's a shame he is on the other side of the world...
