What tires did your car come with?
Can I specify the tire brand or is it just whatever the factory has that day?

It's the luck of the draw about the tires...or is it? Bridgestones are significantly cheaper than Michelins, which means extra profit, albeit a few hundred dollars per car. The majority of cars coming to the US seem to have Bridgestones.

Mine has the crappy Bridgestones. My 997C2S came with PS2's and they were fantastic. But I like to pretend I'm in an F1 car with the Bridgestones!

Put some weight on the dealer and they should make sure what you want is installed - even if they remove from one car to another.

If the dealer has another car in stock w/ Michelin's they should swap them no sweat. Mine came with bridgestone's and they suck. My C2S came with PS32's.

Bridgestones. I think the launch cars mostly came with PS2s, but then they switched to mostly Bridgestones

Mine came with PS2s which I'm very happy with. I think they're still putting those on the Turbos today.

My ordered car came with Michelin Pilot Sport.
I was happy about that.
Now I'm on PS2s.

I tried to specify, but it came with the cheapassed bridges instead. I'll just keep bridges for the street and sport cups on seperate rims for the track when it really counts.
