The shifter looks very meaty like the 944's were - I always liked that - I hate this steering wheel though ( which is diff again from the round insert 50's looking one)

It's not a clock - it is part of the sport chrono package - it folds down and hides away - it is a timer - chronograph

I am thinking now this wheel is for the Carrera 3.6 and the more rounded 50's look one is for the Carrera "S" 3.8

I agree the steering wheel is a little awkward and I don't like how the top of the dash cants forward. Also, the doors seem a little angular from the pictures I've seen. I do like the alu-look PCM and I've seen the same treatment on the backs of the "S" seats, which looks good.

OTOH, that may mean more blocking of the oil temp and oil pressure gauges . On the 911s I had up through the 993 with their more spread out indiv instruments , the lateral two gauges were unreadable w/o moving my head far left or right.
