Rinspeed Indy 4S
Rinspeed Indy 4S
Hy guys, i would like to change my wheels and i finnaly decided on this: Rinspeed 20 inch wheels c5/1 model in silver but i would like to paint in white and the fromt indy bumper, the rear indy bumper and the side skirts and the carbon rear difusor. I don't like the rear wing so i didn't buy that. I already placed my order and i want your opinion badly. I am haveing second thoughts about this. I really don't want to spoil my car but i also felt there is time for a change. I chose the rinspeed indy because they keep the same line of the car just make everything more agresive and i fell like theyr kit looks more like a facelift...sort of. What do you guys think? Does anyone have pictures of this indy kit on theyr cars, especially in white? P.S. My car is white ,turbo wheels and terracota int. Thanks a lot....
Nope, without the rear wing it looks way better and even cooler as you can raise and lower the wing with a push of a button. If you want it to look racy you can bring it up and if you want it down for that clean look you could still close it.

I have a white 997
I have been looking to get my wheels powdercoated white.
No one can match the carrara white.
Hre will paint and powdercoat the wheels with the best end result.
I too like the Rinspeed and Techarts hoewever you will need to subcontract
out the paint work.
I tried a place in Dallas and they messed up the wheels.
Since then I have been buying cheap wheels and interviewing companies by having them powdercoat or paint to see the end product.
I feel white on white is stunning.
Brake dust will be an issue, you want to make sure the finish is durable enought to withstand cleaning frequently.

I actually think the 997 looks better without a rear wing. The 996 needed a wing. The 993 did not, I made the mistake of putting a RS wing (993 RS back in 96) on my 993. While it looked good, it did kill the lines a bit. Now that I have a 997S I won't make the same mistake. I like the other mods you are considering, I suggest you add the front/rear/side pieces, paint the wheels white and see how it looks. You can always add the tail...look forward to pictures.
love all the rinspeed stuff, I think hands down some of the more tastefull stuff out there, congrats on the purchase and good choice all around, I do like the wing but it can go either way, the car will look killer when it is all on, make sure to post some pics of the all red tails on against the white, that is a great combo.
Thanks again guys for your posts. I am a week away from receiveing the parts and i can't still deceide how to paint the wheels. I don't like black at all, white is nice but they look like they are plastic and bracke dust is an isue.... I really don't know I bught them in normal silver finish. The guy that makes the modifications is very good and i trust he will manege well with the paint job. I recently thought to paint the face of the rim only the outside in white and the inside and betwen the spokes meteor grey like the turbo rims.... Please guys if you have pistures of rinspeed wheels painted in any combination please post it would really help. looking forword to your advice...
